چکیده
Preserving the sustainable agriculture concept requires identifying plant response to water regime and rationing for irrigation. This research compares different irrigation designs coupled with a parametric evaluation system on soil erosion suitability assess sites vulnerable based model (ImpelERO) in an area of 150.0 hectares, Ismailia Governorate, Egypt. Land maps are prepared using Geographic Information System (GIS), properties analyzed evaluated surface, sprinkler, drip methods. The results show that sprinkler strategies more practical methods additional environment friendly than surface enhancing land productivity. Moreover, principle acumen creating use this space is lowering salinity. capability index ranges from 20.5 72.2% (permanently not suitable N2 moderately S2); max (Ci) was 81.3% (highly suitable-S1), while mean 42.87% (Currently suitable-NI). study ranked as highly (S1), (S2), marginally (S3), currently (N1). Thus, obtained data indicated applying (trickle irrigation) most efficient compared sprinkle systems. To identify soil, vulnerability, optimal management agricultural parcel region, ImpelERO (soil vulnerability/impact/management) applied. Erosion risk classes ranged V2 (small) V3 (moderate), region categorized small-sensitive by alfalfa, moderate-sensitive olive. losses varied 7.1 37.9 t ha−1 yr−1 average 17.7 yr−1. guarantee food production future will require system.

Assessing the vulnerability to soil erosion of the Ukai Dam catchments using remote sensing and GIS
The investigation of basins for planning soil conservation requires a selective approach to identify smaller hydrological units, which would be suitable for more efficient and targeted conservation management programmes. One criterion, generally used to determine the vulnerability of catchments to erosion, is the sediment yield of a basin. In India, sediment yield data are generally not collect...
متن کاملGis-based Approach for Change and Prediction of Soil Erosion
The paper has the goal to evaluate if the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE)applied using thematic paper maps and a DEM is sufficient to generate a model to map and predict the influences on the environment caused by soil erosion on Loess Plateau. Factors of USLE R, K, S, L, P as well as C were adapted to the test area, the Nihe Gou catchment in Chunhua County in Shaanxi. Afterwards the parame...
متن کاملSpatially varied soil erosion under different climates
The spatial variability of the factors of the universal soil loss equation is examined on the mediterranean basin of Conca de Tremp covering 43.1 km in Spain. The evaluation of the rainfall erosivity R and the soil erodibility K is relatively straightforward and spatially-averaged values of these parameters can be applied to the entire basin. Conversely, the spatial variability of annual soil e...
متن کاملModeling Soil Erosion Using Rusle and Gis Tools
Soil erosion involves detachment and transport of soil particles from top soil layers, degrading soil quality and reducing the productivity of affected lands. Soil eroded from the upland catchment causes depletion of fertile agricultural land and the resulting sediment deposited at the river networks creates river morphological change and reservoir sedimentation problems. However, land managers...
متن کاملEstimation of soil erosion and sediment yield using GIS
A Geographical Information System (GIS) based method is proposed and demonstrated for the identification of sediment source areas and the prediction of storm sediment yield from catchments. Data from the Nagwa and Karso catchments in Bihar (India) have been used. The Integrated Land and Water Information System (ILWIS) GIS package has been used for carrying out geographic analyses. An Earth Res...
